Winchester Model 670 30.06 with a Weaver K4-1

“In 1974, when I was 15 years old, I walked out of the sporting goods store beside my dad with a brand new, in a box, Model 670 Winchester 30.06 w/ weaver 4X scope. Early on the scope was removed, (long story), and a peep sight was installed. Recently I have been hankering to return the rifle to its original condition of which I purchased it those many years ago, but I was unsure of which specific scope to get.  Then I found Vintage Gun Scopes and contacted them. We emailed back and forth a couple of times and soon my Weaver 4X scope, along with the proper mounting accessories for my rifle, were delivered in a luxurious wooden box. I just recently got the scope mounted and here is a picture. For a 49 year old rifle it sure looks pretty good, doesn't it?
